FOLLOWING a 3-2 victory to Real Madrid against Manchester City yesterday, football legend Thierry Henry has picked Madrid's Kylian Mbappe over City's Erling Haaland.
Haaland found the back of the net twice, while Mbappe struck once as City lost 3-2 to Madrid at home in the first leg of their Champions League play-off on Tuesday night.
Henry, who was providing analysis for the game on CBS Sports alongside Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher, made his opinion known on who is the best between the two goal scorers.
When Carragher asked Henry which of the two players he would prefer to have in his team as a manager, he replied: “Mbappe, all day.
“Because he does – or offers – different options. For a coach, he can play on the right, he can play on the left, and he can play in the middle. Can Haaland play any position other than a nine?”
The second leg of the playoff would take place next week at the Santiago Bernabeu with Man City hoping to turn things around and qualify for the RO16.
