Jelili moves to empower 500 Alimosho youths

In his remark, Comr. Samuel Oloruntola, the Chairman of the Committee, affirmed that the Committee have recommended two areas of youth empowerment to the Local Government. The areas include the provision of tools and support for youth already with skill and presently using it (vocational) and the second area is to train and empower others with needed skills (IT & vocational).

In his contribution, Comr. Jibola, the Vice-Chairman of the Committee, said the Committee also advised that since the Council Chairman is toeing the line of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his interest to keep the youth busy doing what they like, programmes like 3MTT, SMEDAN opportunities, and Agricultural industrialization, which are very core to the interest of Mr President should also be tapped from using the Council's influence.257e
