THE Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has presented the proposed budget for the year 2025 to the Legislative House of the LGA.
Information reaching AlimoshoToday stated that the council Boss made the presentation on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at a special plenary of the legislators held at the legislative chamber mainly to receive the budget, which is a vital document for the smooth running of The Local Government in the Year 2025.
The council Boss, accompanied by Executive and management members, affirmed that the budget consolidates the progress recorded in 2024. As a result, it is themed "Budget for Sustainable Growth and Development."
In his address, Hon. Jelili emphasised that the Year 2024 had lots of projects completed and many others still in progress. Therefore, the 2025 budget will consolidate that of 2024 to ensure that all work in progress will receive the right attention and consequently reshape the community for the better.
Jelili consequently proposed a budget total of N7, 292,664,367 with current expenditure being N4, 732,664,367 and a capital expenditure of N2, 554,000,000 for the approval of the House.
In his address, the leader of the House, Hon. Ahmed Obadina welcomed the Executive Chairman and every other stakeholder present, including the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Akinpelu Johnson and the SLG, Hon. Dare Ogunkoya, among others to the plenary.
He further promised the Executive and management of the readiness of the House to do all that is necessary, in due time, to get the budget passed into law.
