THE Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has felicitated the people of Alimosho for witnessing the New Year 2025.
In a message made available for broadcast, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon congratulated all Alimosho residents for being alive to witness the year 2025.
He said, "While everyone wished for this day, not everyone was able to witness it. It's only by God's grace we are alive on this day and so we should appreciate God for giving us another chance to do better than last year.
"Though the year 2024 wasn't so easy economically because of the policy changes effected by the Federal Government with the aim of giving us a better future, the year 2025 is deemed to extract some of the gains of 2024 and take it straight to the people.
"Our patience and sacrifices in the year 2024 didn't go unnoticed by our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his entire cabinet and that is why he is relentless in making life better for all and sundry. All he is requesting is more time so that the efforts already in place can materialise.
“Happy New Year 2025! May this New Year bring you joy and abundant blessings!”
