THE Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has joined the staff of the LGA under the umbrella of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) to celebrate the newly inaugurated Executives of the branch.
In his speech at the inauguration ceremony, the council Boss congratulated the Executives for coming out successful in the election, adding that this reflects absolute support from the council staff.
He added that they should build on the legacy of the immediate past Executives in carrying out their responsibilities and carry the staff along because they are not there to represent themselves, but rather the staff.
He concluded by assuring them of his absolute support to deliver on their assignments as Executives of NULGE.
In his acceptance speech, the newly inaugurated NULGE Chairman, Comr. Afolabi Oluwagbenga Ezekiel appreciated the Executive Chairman for his role in the entire process. He also appreciated the immediate past Executives, especially the Chairman, Comr. Rufaiyah Alejo for her leadership display. And he also thanked the NULGE President in Lagos State, Comr. Ogunfowora Sunday Sewanu and his team for the guidance in ensuring the election and inauguration are successful.
The new Executives have a four-year regime, which will end in 2028 when another election and inauguration will be due.
