THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon on Monday, August 15, 2022, received the Executive Members of the Rotary Club of Akowonjo in his office at the council secretariat.
During the meeting, the Council Boss appreciated the Rotary Club for the visit and for always being a part of the development of the council area.
According to him, the Rotary Club has made a lot of impact on the development of Alimosho, adding that they donated immensely to the Aregbesola Primary School as well as the Bola Tinubu Primary Health Centre, both in Akowonjo.
He consequently wished that other organizations emulate the humanitarian qualities of the Rotary Club for the development of society.
On his part, the President of the CLUB, Rotarian Olawale Ajenifuja, who led the delegation, appreciated the Chairman and consequently affirmed that the Rotary Club has indeed come to stay in Alimosho.
He added that the Rotary Club of Akowonjo has been a part of the progress of the Alimosho Local Government since its creation about 7 years ago.
He then promised that the club is committed to making positive contributions to the health and welfare of the children in the council area.
The District Governor of the club, Rotarian Omotunde Lawson and her deputy also joined the delegation during the visit.
The club also hoisted her flag at Cele Roundabout along Akowonjo Road as a sign of their stay in Alimosho.
