Chelsea striker, Nicholas Jackson out till April

CHELSEA striker, Nicolas Jackson has been ruled out of action until April after picking an injury during training.

The Senegal international underwent a scan on Wednesday, which confirmed that he had picked up a hamstring injury.

This is a big blow to Head Coach, Enzo Maresca, who will be without a striker as Marc Guiu is also out injured and won't be available for football action anytime soon.

Jackson will miss Friday night’s trip to Brighton, as well as the journey to Aston Villa and games against Southampton, Leicester City, and Arsenal.

He would also miss Chelsea's two-legged Europa Conference League last-16 tie in March but is expected to be back when the Blues play Tottenham.

Christopher Nkunku is likely to fill in as a striker or opt for Cole Palmer as a false nine.
