2024 Grammy award winner, Tyla has opened up on why she is still single while explaining the kind of man she would like to date.
The South African singer, who is responsible for the hit song “Water,” explained that she is single because she wants to focus on her music career in the meantime.
Speaking in a recent interview with Power 96.5 FM, Miami, the 22-year-old also stated that she is not a fan of clubgoers and would rather date a video gamer.
“Video games all day. A club guy? No! What the hell?” She replied when asked if she would rather have a boyfriend who plays video games a lot or a boyfriend who is always in the club
“I would rather have a boyfriend who plays video games than a boyfriend who is at the club every weekend. At least, I know the guy who plays video games will always be home with me. I also love being at home,” she added.
Tyla won the Grammy for Best African Music Performance beating Asake, Olamide, Burna Boy, and Davido, featuring Musa Keys for the award.
