DESPITE being outplayed by Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool were able to secure a 1-0 victory against them in their first leg of the UEFA Champions League R16.

PSG had the upper hand by hitting 25 shots but couldn’t find the back of the net as Liverpool, who had just two shots in the entire game, was able to put one in the back of the net.

"It's very unfair, very unfair," Enrique said in a post-match interview.

"I think it was a complete match, if not the most complete we've played in the Champions League. They shot twice and scored a goal. We had many chances; their best player was the goalkeeper," he added.

Despite the setback, Enrique remains confident that PSG can turn the tie around in the second leg at Anfield.

"We were much better than Liverpool; their best player was the goalkeeper.

"We deserved to win the match, and I see no negative side. There is the second leg in Liverpool, and we will not give up," he said.
