ARSENAL super signing, Gabriel Jesus has failed to find the back of the net in five appearances for Arsenal across all competitions.
The Brazilian international joined Arsenal from Manchester City for a £45Million transfer fee.
However, he has endured a barren spell in the Premier League and Europa League competition since netting in a North London derby against Tottenham on October 1, 2022. Luckily, Mikel Arteta is not concerned about the player's form.
“I’m sure today he [Jesus] will be disappointed because he had the chances to put them away. Knowing Gabi, he’s disappointed when he scores two goals and could have scored three or four, so he can do that.
"But he has the chances, and he’s always there. He gives so much to the team, and it’s a shame he couldn’t put them away today,” Arteta said after a 1-1 draw against Southampton on Sunday, October 23, 2022.
Gabriel Jesus could not help the Gunners continue their winning streak, as the game ended 1-1 against Southampton, giving the Gunners their first draw in 28 games.
