EMMANUEL Petit, a former Chelsea and Arsenal player wants the Gunners to do whatever it takes to bring Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen to the North London side.
The Ligue 1 winner with Monaco believes that Osimhen is what the Gunners need to bolster their squad and challenge for the league title next season having lost by a close gap to Manchester City last season.
Osimhen has often been linked to the Gunners over the years, but with the high price slammed on the 25-year-old by Napoli, the Gunners are having a hard time submitting a bid for the reigning African Player of the Year.
“I would love to see a player like Osimhen, for example, as a striker.
"Someone who can hold defenders and think differently in terms of attacking the spaces behind the defenders and being a big threat on set pieces. A physical presence as well, but someone who can speak the same football.
"I've been watching him since he was at Lille before he left for Napoli and it would fit perfectly for Arsenal," Petit remarked.
It remains unknown the decision the Gunners will take as regards the lethal striker who could also remain in Napoli as the club now has a new Manager in Antonio Conte.
