THE Quarter Finals of the Euro 2024 starts today as Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal will play Kylian Mbappe's France in what promises to be an exciting encounter.
Beating Slovenia in the Round of 16 meant that Ronaldo and his teammates would battle France who defeated Belgium in the Round of 16 to qualify for the next stage of the tournament.
Portugal's captain, Ronaldo has predicted a very tough battle with France in their Euro 2024 quarter-final but is confident the team can get the job done.
“We’re going to have a tough game now against France, which is one of the favourites to win,” Ronaldo said at his post-match press conference on Monday.
“But we go to war, the team is fine and I will always do my best with this sweater,” he added.
The Quarterfinals will also see England play Switzerland on Saturday, the Netherlands play Turkey on Saturday, and Spain play Germany on Friday.
