Argentina captain, Lionel Messi, has hailed fellow teammate and Goal keeper, Emi Martinez, and to describe him as a phenomenon.
Emi Martinez was able to save Argentina from falling out of the Copa America race by saving 3 penalties during the penalty shoot-out after the match ended 1-1 in 90 minutes playing time.
Speaking in a post match interview, Messi gave his comment on the Aston Villa Goal keeper saying,
"We have Emi, who is a phenomenon.
“We knew that he was going to stop them. We know and trust him. He deserves it.
“We achieved the goal of being able to play all the games and now we are going to the final.”
Argentina will face the host of the competition, Brazil, at the finals which fans have tagged a Messi vs Neymar showdown.
