GALATASARAY were without Victor Osimhen in the Europa League fixture against Rigas FS as it ended in a 2-2 draw.
Osimhen missed the encounter due to muscle problems as the Turkish side bottled a 2-goal lead in the first half to end the game at 2-2.
Galatasaray's coach lamented that Victor Osimhen’s absence in the game would have prevented the match from ending in a draw against Rigas FS.
“Of course, we can have shortcomings here. Victor Osimhen was not there because he was injured.
“With him, you can find more solutions in such matches.
“We saw that Icardi also moved around more and played more comfortably; but of course, I had higher expectations from the players who entered later in the game.
“Unfortunately, we could not do this. We had to produce more,” Buruk told the club’s official website.
It remains unknown when Victor will be cleared to play as he could miss the next game for Galatasaray, as well as the AFCON qualifiers against Libya for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
