FOLLOWING the failure to secure an agreement for Dortmund wonder-kid, Jadon Sancho, Manchester United are keeping tabs on Juventus winger, Douglas Costa as the summer transfer pressure mounts on.
The 29-year-old Brazilian has been in Juventus for three years after playing for Shakhtar Donetsk and Bayern Munich.
Manchester United are in search of a wide player and Douglas could be a good fit although the Jadon Sancho deal has not been abandoned totally.
However, should United are unable to secure Sancho, Costa would be considered.
After an awful display against Sevilla last Saturday which dropped them out of the Europa league, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has seen the desperate need to improve the squad.
In an interview after the Sevilla encounter, Gunnar tagged the match "disappointing."
Admittedly, Dortmund are still requesting an offer of £108m asking price for Sancho.
