Two Athletico Madrid players test positive for COVID-19

AHEAD of their champions league quarter-final fixture against RB Leipzig, two Athletico Madrid players have tested positive for the coronavirus.

News broke on Sunday while carrying a test on the players, before taking a trip to Lisbon for the quarter-final match, that two players had tested positive.

The players will not be allowed to travel to Lisbon to play in the match or take part in the remainder of the competition.

The players are in a stable condition and are currently observing self-isolation protocols. Names of the players are yet to be released, but it is suspected that it might be goalkeeper OBLAK and defender, TRIPPER.
