Conte avoids speaking on Osimhen's future at Napoli

NEWLY appointed Napoli manager, Antonio Conte has refused to speak on Victor Osimhen's future at the club but noted how good a player he is.

Victor Osimhen has been a recent topic as the player could leave the club this summer with interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG, and the Saudi Arabians.

Napoli on their side is open to selling the player and has in fact reduced player valuation from €150M to €100M in a bid to raise funds for Conte who wants to bring Romelu Lukaku to his side.

The 54-year-old tactician when asked about Victor Osimhen's future said, “As far as Osimhen is concerned, just as I knew very well about the situation of Kvara, Di Lorenzo, Anguissa, Lobotka, on whom I had an absolute veto, I know very well about the Osimhen situation.”

“I know that there are agreements with the club, it’s a totally different situation, which I’ll witness.

“Then if you ask me about the player, he’s a top player, but I can’t get into any discussions about Osimhen because these are previous agreements,” he added.

As for Osimhen, the player is currently enjoying his holidays as he was a guest at Davido and Chioma's wedding that took place on Tuesday in Lagos.
