Lagos State University (LASU) will soon hold its matriculation ceremony for newly-admitted students of the 2019/2020 academic session, AlimoshoToday has learnt.
LASU re-opened two fortnights ago amidst strict COVID-19 measures. The institution which ranked second only to the University of Ibadan, in Times Higher Education (THE) World University Ranking for 2021 is now ready to matriculate new students to set another record.
The scheduled date for the matriculation ceremony is Wednesday, 14th October, 2020 by 10:00 am prompt at the Main Auditorium of the University, Ojo Campus.
The Head of the LASU Center for Information, Press and Public Relations (CIPPR) , Mr. Ademola Adekoya, confirmed this to AlimoshoToday in a statement in the early hours of today.
When the issue of restrictions and COVID-19 protocols was raised, Mr. Ademola said: "Please note that only selected 10 students per faculty would be allowed to enter the venue of the matriculation ceremony.
