Kehinde Joseph facilitates road rehabilitation in Alimosho

RESIDENTS of Princess Adebisi Street, off Governor Road, in Igando-Ikotun LCDA, and Famakin Street in the Egbe-Idimu LCDA of Alimosho, will experience relief as rehabilitation of the duo roads linking the major roads in Alimosho Constituency II, has commenced.

The road rehabilitation, which was facilitated by the Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Alimosho Constituency II, Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph, was a sequel to the intervention of the lawmaker as part of his Constituency projects.

While speaking on the importance of the road projects, Joseph said the projects are expected to improve the transportation infrastructure in the Constituency, making it easier for residents and business owners to commute and transport their goods and services. It will also influence economic growth and enhance the overall quality of life for the people living therein.

"Our commitment towards delivering dividend of democracy to the electorates is reinforced through actions like this, where tangible steps are taken towards addressing the infrastructural needs of the people.

"Such steps did not only demonstrate the Government's dedication to development but also instil confidence among the electorates that their needs are being taken seriously.

"It is on this note I am striving to build the infrastructural gap in our Constituency and stimulate growth through our strategic engagement with the Executive Arm of the State. This is what representative democracy means to me," he said.

The Chairman of the House Committee on Public Account (State) then commended the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, for his leadership prowess and unwavering steadfastness towards seeing to the yearning of the masses through the holders of their mandates in the Legislative Chamber.

The grassroots lawmaker, however, advised the residents to cooperate with the contractors and workers handling the rehabilitation of the roads so that they can be completed within the time frame.
