THE Executive Chairman of the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa has celebrated the Christian faithful in the LCDA as they celebrate the Year 2024 Christmas celebration.
His Christmas message to the constituents on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, read: "Dear amazing constituents, Christmas, the commemoration of the Birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is here again. It is my delight, on behalf of my family and the Government of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA to rejoice with Christians in Agbado Oke-Odo and all over the world on this beautiful day of celebration.
"May I specially congratulate you for witnessing yet another Christmas and urge you all to imbibe the teachings of this Season. May I also encourage you to use this festive season for sober reflections, total spiritual overhauling, renewal and devotion for a better life in Christ Jesus.
"As we go about celebrating, let us bear in mind that Christmas goes beyond merry-making. It signifies sacrifice, mercy, love, hope, and joy.
"In the joy of this season, I admonish us to reach out to people around us, by fulfiling the profound mandate of Jesus teachings. Let us give hope to the less privileged through our sacrificial and beautiful gifts.
"My administration, through the help of God and your support, will continue to sustain the peace and harmony we enjoy in our community .
"Merry Christmas everyone! May the joy, glad tidings and blessings of this Season continue to rest and abide with us all."
