THE Executive Chairman of the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa has celebrated the LCDA women on the Year 2025 commemoration of International Women’s Day.
His goodwill message read: “On International Women’s Day, I honour our women for their vital role in shaping and strengthening our communities, families, governments, and businesses. I celebrate their vision, leadership, and courage, and reaffirm my commitment to promoting equal opportunity for women everywhere.
“Around the world, women are making important contributions to global prosperity, security, government, and innovation. As we celebrate these remarkable achievements on International Women's Day, I also recognise the critical role our Nation plays in advancing equal opportunity for all women so that they can reach their full potential and inspire the next generation of leaders.
“As we recognise International Women’s Day, I acknowledge that when women are economically empowered, they are able to invest more in their families and communities, thereby producing a multiplier effect that spurs economic growth and contributes to global stability.
“The Sanwo-Olu-led administration has never been more committed to promoting equal opportunity for all women and the results speak for themselves. My administration also remains vigilant in pursuit of equality and opportunity so that all women in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA blaze new trails, pursue their dreams, and reach their full potential.
“On this beautiful day, I join the world to celebrate the immeasurable ways in which women support our communities, strengthen our country, and sustain the resilience of Nigerians each and every day.
“Happy Year 2025 International Women's Day.”
