THE Executive Chairman of the AgbadoOke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa, on Tuesday played host to the Lagos House Committee on Judiciary, Petitions, Human Rights, and LASIEC, who were on a visit to ascertain the readiness of the Council for the forthcoming Local Government elections, in his office at the Council Secretariat. 

In a swift reception of the team, the Council Boss took them on an exclusive inspection of all the election materials in the Council's custody, including the LASIEC Office. 

In his remarks, the Head of the team and Chairman of the House Committee on Judiciary, Petitions, Human Rights, and LASIEC, Hon. Oladipo Ajomale, after quizzing the Electoral Officer, Mrs Adenike Oguntunde, appreciated the Council Chairman for the safekeeping of election materials in preparation for the coming elections. He lauded him for the support accorded to LASIEC Officers in the Local Government while imploring him for better welfare for the LASIEC staff to ensure greater service delivery.

With the Council Chairman to receive the committee were the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Ajoke Moromoke Aminat Obe, the Councillors, led by the Leader of the House, Hon. Olatunji Ogunyemi, the Cabinet members, led by the Secretary to the Local Government, Chief Akinwumi James Odeyemi, Acting Council Manager, Mrs Bolanle Egunjobi, and Council Treasurer, Mrs Ayodele Abdulsalam, among others.
