Alimosho council mayor hosts Alimosho primary schools managers, promises students school uniforms

AS part of his quest for a better education for Alimosho pupils, and to improve the welfare of school managers, the Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Olawale Sulaimon has, yesterday Monday, January 10, 2022, received the heads of primary schools in his office in Alimosho.

According to information reaching AlimoshoToday, through the Media Aide to the Chairman, Comrade Babatunde Opeyemi, the headteachers, who were led by the Executive Secretary of the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Hon. Airat Alamu was received into the management meeting of the council for discussions on how to improve the standard of education of Alimosho students.

While speaking on behalf of the management, the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Akinpelu Johnson emphasized the need for adequate monitoring of the vocational activities of the pupils. According to him, "with adequate monitoring, by the next time we are meeting, we should be talking about the graduation of the students from the vocational school asides their expected academic graduation."

The Council Mayor, Hon. Jelili has appreciated the efforts of the teachers in grooming the next generation, and also reassured them that the local government's plan to provide free school uniforms for students and an operational vehicle for the association of heads of school in Alimosho, maintenance of school structures, provision of security, among others will be fulfilled in due time.

The school managers present include the managers of Abati Primary School, African Church Primary School, Akowonjo Primary School, Community Primary School, Ebenezer Primary School, Egbeda Primary School, Rauf Aregbesola Primary School, and Shasha Primary School.
