THE House of Representatives-elect for the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba (Mayor K.K.), has commiserated with the Lagos State Government, under the authority of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the families of the staff of the Lagos State Government who were victims of an accident that occurred when their bus collided with a commercial train in the early hours of Thursday, March 9, 2023, along the PWD-Oshodi expressway.
The House of Reps-elect, in a commiseration message on Friday, March 10, 2023, said, “I commiserate with the Lagos State Government and families of the victims of the bus/train accident that collided with the Lagos Rapid Bus Service (BRT) at Shogunle Area of Lagos State in the early hours of Thursday, March 9, 2023.
“The accident is tragic and pathetic, as lives were lost and many were seriously injured and receiving treatment. The timely intervention and efforts of the Lagos State Government through the necessary government agencies were able to reduce the level of casualties.
“My condolences go out to the government and people of Lagos State and the families of those who lost their loved ones in the accident. I wish those injured a quick recovery.
“May God's mercy and protection be upon the people of Lagos State and Nigeria.”
