The Lagos State Blood Transfusion Service (LSBTS) has flagged off the Year 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Awareness Month with an appeal to residents to embrace voluntary blood donation as a lifesaving act.
2. LIRS SETS JANUARY 31 DEADLINE FOR FILING TAX RETURNS
The Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) has issued a reminder to all employers in the State to file annual tax returns for the 2024 financial year on or before January 31, 2025. This requirement is in line with the Personal Income Tax Act (PITA) Cap P8 LFN 2004 (as amended).
3. LASG REMANDS TEACHER IN KIRIKIRI FOR ASSAULT ON TODDLER
The Lagos State Government has evoked the Child Rights Act and the Lagos State Policy on Safeguarding and Child Protection against Mrs Stella Nwadigbo, a Teacher at Christ Mitots Nursery and Primary School at Agric, Ikorodu, for indecent treatment of a toddler and pupil of the School, Master Abayomi Michael.
