THE member of the House of Representatives representing the people of the Alimosho Federal Constituency in the 10th National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba had the privilege of attending the Exhibition Polo Match of the Royal Turbanning Ceremony of Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmed, the Member House of Representatives of the Musawa/Matasu Federal Constituency, Katsina State, as the Dunima Katsina.
Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmed is the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Interior, while Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba serves as the Deputy Chairman.
Others who were turbanned by the Emir of Katsina, HRH. Alh. (Dr) Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, CFR, includes Alh. Faruq Lawan Jobe, Deputy Governor of Katsina State, and Alh. Jabiru Abdullahi Aliyu, the Chief of Staff to the Katsina State Governor, as the Sarkin Fulanin Jobe and Lamidan Katsina, respectively.
The event, which was organised by the Katsina Polo Club Management, was held at Sir Usman Nagogo Polo Ground, Kofa Yandaga, Katsina State, on September 21, 2024.
