ABOUT 100 persons, mostly artisans, have benefited from a two-day entrepreneurship programme organised by the lawmaker representing Alimosho Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Honourable Olufemi Adebanjo in collaboration with the Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority.

The laudable event took place at the Eco Event Center, Egbeda, yesterday, November 18, 2021.

Some of the goods shared to beneficiaries at the event include grinding machines, shoe making equipment, and soap making machines. They were also awarded startup grants to support their businesses.

Adebanjo explained through a message that the empowerment programme is a function of his constituency project and the beneficiaries were randomly selected across the whole Alimosho Federal Constituency. He went on to say that it was after enough consultation with constituents that he decided to facilitate the empowerment programme, which will definitely impact them.

Adebanjo enjoined the beneficiaries to be productive with the resources and tools gifted to them. He also hinted that some physical projects are currently underway too.

Many of the beneficiaries expressed joy at the aid granted to them by the National Assembly member representing their constituency and thanked all stakeholders who made the empowerment programme a success.

Honourable Adebanjo was represented by Honourable Tosin Fatoki, the Alimosho All Progressives Congress party chairman.
