THE Executive Chairman of the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa, has joined other colleagues in mourning the death of the Executive Chairman of the Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon. Oladotun Olakanle, who died on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
In his condolence message to the late council Boss’ family on Saturday, November 2, 2024, Famuyiwa said: “It is with a heavy heart and rude shock that I received the news of the passing of a great friend, brother, colleague and an administrator par excellence, the late Council Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon. Oladotun Olakanle, which sad event occurred in the early hours of Saturday, November 2, 2024.
“On behalf of my family, the Government and the good people of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, I commiserate with the family of Hon. Oladotun Olakanle and the Progressives in Ikeja Federal Constituency and Lagos as a whole on the sudden demise of this great politician of class.
“TantOlorun's death came so unexpectedly and I have not been able to come to terms with the fact he will no longer be in our midst again. He was such a brave and brilliant personality, who will surely and sorely be missed.
“My thoughts and prayers are with his family and the entire Ikeja Federal Constituency on the irreparable loss of this amazing and patriotic Council Boss.
“May Almighty God rest his soul, be with his family and give everyone he left behind the fortitude to bear his sad and painful exit.
