1. UK OPENS NEW VISA APPLICATION CENTRE IN LAGOS
The United Kingdom (UK) on Wednesday unveiled its largest Visa Application Centre in Africa, located in Ikeja, Lagos State. Operated by VFS Global, the new centre marks a significant step in enhancing visa application services for Nigerians travelling to the UK. Note that the UK remains a top destination for Nigerian travellers, who account for five per cent of all global visit visa applications.
2. AKINSANYA EMPOWERS IGANDO-IKOTUN YOUTHS WITH FREE WEB DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
In a bid to ensure the employability of the youth of the Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), the Executive Chairman, Comr. Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya has empowered them with a web development training programme, titled; "Let Teen Code". The three-day training was organised to equip young individuals in the council with essential digital skills.
3. FAMUYIWA INSPECTS ONGOING ROAD, CULVERT PROJECTS IN AGBADO OKE-ODO LCDA
The Executive Chairman of the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa, alongside his Executive team members, toured the ongoing projects within the LCDA. He inspected the ongoing road projects in Olawale Cole Street, Owodunni Street/Old Otta Road, Lawal Street, Abule-Oki, and culvert constructions across three wards (A, B, C).
