EX-Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has condemned the way Manchester United boss, Erik Ten Hag, managed Jadon Sancho's issues at the club.

Apparently, they were wrong as Sancho joined Chelsea on transfer deadline day on a season-long loan this summer, with the Blues having an obligation to buy him next year.

Klopp believes Ten Hag should have shown his support rather than loaning a player the club acquired for £80 million.

“If the whole world loses trust and faith in the player, the manager has to be the one behind the player,” Klopp said.

“I cannot just buy into that ‘he’s useless,’ like other clubs did by the way – buying a player for £80 million and then sending him out on loan!” he added.

While Chelsea acquired Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on loan, they had to let go of Raheem Sterling, who joined Arsenal on a season-long loan.
