Iwobi, Ekong, Boniface make AFCON qualifiers squad

THE NFF has released a list of players that will represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the upcoming AFCON qualifier matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda next month.

The team comprises three goalkeepers, seven defenders, six midfielders, and seven forwards, which have big names such as Alex Iwobi, William Ekong, and Victor Boniface included in it.

All the players are expected to report in Uyo on Monday, September 2 in preparation for the Cheetahs of Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo on Saturday, September 7, before flying to Kigali to take on Rwanda at the Amahoro Stadium on Tuesday, September 10.
