BARCELONA defender, Sergino Dest, who is currently on loan at Eredivisie club, PSV Eindhoven, has vowed not to return to the club as long as Xavi remains the Head Coach of Barcelona.
Dest, who was a regular starter when Ronald Koeman was in charge of the club, could not make it to Xavi's most-needed player list as injury hampered him from being on Xavi's good side.
The player eventually left for Ac Milan on loan and had an unsuccessful spell before going on loan again for PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie, making an impact for the club.
Despite still being a Barcelona player till 2025, the United States of America right-back has vowed not to return to the club until Xavi leaves.
“Only if the situation changes there. Xavi is still there now. So at the moment, no, that will be too difficult," Dest stated via Voetbal International.
As for Xavi, the manager is facing a lot of criticism after a disappointing run of results. He stands a possibility of losing his job before the end of the year if things do not change.
