MIKEL Arteta has led Arsenal to their first Premier League win against Manchester City in 12 games after a 1-0 win at the Emirate Stadium on Sunday.

A deflected goal in the 86th minute from substitute Gabriel Martinelli was all it took to ensure the Gunners remain unbeaten in the Premier League, while Man City suffers two consecutive defeats.

The win now means that the Spaniard tactician has beaten every team he has played against in the Premier League at least once, as it took him his eighth game in charge to finally get the win over his former boss.

The Gunners will be hoping to continue firing when they play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on October 21, while City will be aiming to get back to winning ways when they play Brighton same day.
