THE Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced the adjustment of international flights' resumption to September 5 on Thursday evening.
The previously scheduled date of August 29 is thereby null and void.
The announcement was made by the Director-General of the NCAA, Musa Shuaibu Nuhu, during a Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 briefing in Abuja.
The reason for the postponement, the DG said, summarised as non-aviation logistics which must be put in order.
He remarked that airlines are in order and ready to operate.
Addressing the issue of the initial date, Mr Nuhu said, "the initial announcement was anytime from July 29th.
He said domestic flights resumed in July and international flights are scheduled to follow.
