1.    AKINSANYA HARPS ON EDUCATIONAL PURSUITS, GIVES OUT 100 FREE GCE FORMS221a
In a remarkable demonstration of commitment to education and youth empowerment, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde,  the Executive Chairman of the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, has distributed 100 free General Certificate of Education (GCE) forms to indigent students.

2.  LAGOS MASS TRANSIT RED LINE RAIL BEGINS PARTIAL OPERATIONS221c
The Lagos Mass Transit Red Line Rail has commenced partial operations, marking a significant milestone in the State’s ongoing efforts to modernise its transportation infrastructure. The Red Line Rail will begin by offering free passenger services.

3.  FG BARS UNDER-18 STUDENTS FROM WRITING NECO, WAEC EXAMS220i
The Federal Government of Nigeria has barred individuals under the age of 18 years from participating in the National Examinations Council (NECO) and West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examinations. Mamman also affirmed that the age limit for any candidate to write the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) remained 18 years.

4.  FG DISTRIBUTES FREE COOKING GAS CYLINDERS IN LAGOS6694
The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Ekperikpe Ekpo, in collaboration with the Decade of Gas Initiative, on Monday, flagged off the distribution of free cooking gas cylinders to about 300 women in Lagos State. Ekpo maintained that the distribution of cylinders is part of the Government’s initiative to provide 1 million homes with access to clean cooking by the year 2030.
