OKE Ishegun Primary School, Alimosho, has emerged in the second position, in the just-concluded 2020 Lagos State Schools Governor’s Quiz competition with 10 points.
The results were announced by the quizmaster, Mr Olusegun Adedeji, on Friday, at the grand finale of the competition that was held virtually.
Ahmad Primary School, Agege, came first with 14 points while Mafoluku Nursery/Primary School, Oshodi-Isolo emerged third with 8 points.
In the Junior Secondary School (JSS) category, Fagba Junior Grammar School, Fagba, took the first position with 18 points, while Lagos State Junior Model College Kankon and Eva Adelaja Junior Secondary School, Bariga came second and third with 16 points and 12 points respectively.
In the Senior Secondary School (SSS) category, Keke Senior Grammar School, Agege, emerged the best Senior Secondary School in the year 2020 Lagos State Schools Governor’s Quiz competition with 14 points.
Oriwu Senior Model College, Ikorodu, finished second with 12 points while Lagos State Senior Model College, Kankon came third with 10 points.
The state Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, said the competition held virtually, in line with efforts by the state government towards engaging the students while at home.
