ESTABLISHED on September 28, 1992, St. Lawrence Greater Heights College, like other establishments, did not just rise to the top without challenges.

Set up by a core educationist, Mrs Kehinde Lucy Adeosun, the school kicked off 30 years ago with no teachers; armed with her background knowledge, Mrs Adeosun had to encourage WASSCE holders to assist in teaching, putting them through on what they were to do to develop the children and to manage the children.

The school started in a 4-bedroom flat at No 14, Baba Folarin’s house. However, when the population kept growing, there arose the need to expand. This was realised on March 29, 1996, when the school was moved to where it currently seats at 13/15, Command Secondary School Road, Ajasa, Agbado Oke-Odo, Lagos.

In 2010, a one-time student of the school held the position of a 'One Day Governor' in Lagos State.

In Alimosho, St. Lawrence is one of the best schools; in academics, sports, and spelling they are up there. The school has repeatedly drawn the attention of the entire Lagos State to the potential of Alimosho children.

In the whole of Lagos State in 1998, St. Lawrence Nursery girls won the 50-Metre race. In many other programmes, St. Lawrence is one of the schools representing Alimosho in Lagos State.
