THE Executive Chairman of the Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. Bola Shobowale has welcomed students in the council area to the new 2024/2025 academic year, assuring that her administration is dedicated to improving the quality of education in the LCDA.
Her goodwill message on Monday, January 6, 2025, read: “On behalf of the entire good people of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, I am happy to welcome you to the 2024-25 school year.
"Education has been defined as the best legacy and this has been confirmed by the number of resourceful chaps who have impacted our society in science, technology, and so on. This would have been impossible if education was not taken seriously in Ayobo-Ipaja.
“As a Government, we have not taken education with levity, and this is clearly reflected in our efforts by promoting impact-driven education through the provisions of 10 blocks of classrooms in Salvation Army Primary School, Ayobo, provision of GCE and Jamb for indigenes and indigents, yearly children excursions, yearly Spelling Bee programmes, Adult education, and so on.
“On behalf of the Government, we express a special ‘thank you’ to our teachers who worked diligently over the holidays, maintaining operations and preparing our schools and systems for the January return. Our office door is open and ready to welcome one and all ideas in transforming education in the Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, as we run an open-door policy.
“Best wishes to all our teachers, pupils, staff, partners, and volunteers for a successful and rewarding school year ahead!”
