THE Executive Chairman of the Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. Chief (Mrs) Bola Shobowale has felicitated teachers in the council area and all over the Alimosho Federal Constituency as they celebrate the Year 2024 World Teachers' Day.
Her congratulatory message on October 5, read: “On behalf of the Government and the good people of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, I celebrate those who painstakingly groom, nurture, mould, and equip minds and generations with legally and socially approved practices, skills, norms, and values as the world commemorates Teachers’ Day today, Saturday, October 5, 2024.
“A teacher's job mainly is to inspire and enhance a student's imagination and increase his mental (cognitive) abilities to make this world the best place to live in. It is indeed only a teacher who can see into the past, from the present, into the future.
“Let us all take this simple responsibility of becoming a small part of nation-building through shaping the lives of our children. To be a teacher is a unique privilege, and it is only the best who are referred to and remembered generation after generation.
“Imagine a society without a teacher. If a teacher is not there, no other profession would exist.
“Happy Teachers Day to all the teachers.”
