The Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. Yusuf Sakiru Adisa, received the Local Government Monitoring Department team in his office recently.
The visit was to ascertain the level of compliance to the second wave of COVID-19 guidelines and the management of the various markets in the LCDA.
The Chairman thanked the team and encouraged them to feel free moving around, noting that the Council has always taken the issue of the environment strongly.
He also intimated them of his plan to uplift and develop some facilities in earnest.
The team, led by Mr. Ogunjobi R.O, Director of Local Government Monitoring, visited, the Ayobo Market, Ipaja, Olurunda, Baruwa Markets and others.
After the visit, they commended the Chairman, particularly on the desilting of drainages, waste evacuation and advocacy program.
In attendance were the Vice-Chairperson, Mrs Bola Sobowale; the Council-Manager, Mrs. Mercy Adeyemi; HOD, Environment, Mrs. Adeoye; Mrs Jeje and Hon. Femi Owolabi.
