Egbewunmi developed a website and an application that can help anyone or businesses hire skilled and trusted handiwork services when needed in a fast and affordable way. The website and smartphone application enable clients and handworkers to request and receive handwork Services.
Egbewunmi Olusanjo is a product of Abesan Senior High School located in Abesan Housing Estate around the Mosan-Okunola and Ayobo -Ipaja axis of Alimosho LGA. Due to his passion for technological innovations, he has been able to build a sustainable website and mobile phone application that will ensure that users can access artisans needed for a specific job in a reliable, fast, secure, and affordable way.
Egbewunmi's innovation will definitely put his name, the school, and the Alimosho LGA on the technological advancement radar and this will not only bring about societal improvement to the state, but it will also place LGA in the developmental sphere.
It is a commendable feat that in a society that is categorised by the misuse of technology among teenagers and young adults, Egbewunmi has been able to build a website that is guaranteed to provide employment for unemployed youth and artisans in the state; he truly deserves to be celebrated.
It's also good that Egbewunmi Olusanjo is a student from Alimosho.
The Lagos State Science and Research Innovation Council (LASRIC) initiative is in line with Lagos State Governor's efforts to make Lagos State an employment hub and a sustainable environment for its residents.
The handiwork initiative, according to LASRIC, is aimed at providing solutions to Africa’s issue of unemployment and also providing a means of economic development in the state.
