THE Lagos State House of Assembly team on LASIEC, led by the Chairman of the Judiciary Human Right and Public Petition/ LASIEC, Hon. Ladi Ajomale, recently visited the Igando-Ikotun LCDA Secretariat on an inspection tour of its electoral offices.
Information reaching AlimoshoToday states that the inspection initiative is part of the Commission’s preparations for the upcoming Year 2025 Local Government elections.
During the visit, Hon. Ladi Ajomale emphasised the importance of touring and inspecting LASIEC offices while identifying potential challenges for electoral officials and assessing logistical needs.
He further reassured Igando-Ikotun residents of LASIEC’s commitment to ensuring a fair electoral process and a secure environment for all political participants.
For his part, the Executive Chairman of the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, assured the Committee of the council’s commitment to ensuring strict adherence to the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) guidelines for a peaceful and transparent election.
“Our administration has taken deliberate steps to ensure adequate preparation, from security arrangements to logistical support, for a seamless and credible election,” he added.
