CHIEF Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Authority (LCDA), Comrade Oseni Eniola Badmus, has reacted to the termination of his appointment by the Igando-Ikotun LCDA Executive Chairman, Hon Morenike Adesina-Williams.
A termination of appointment letter dated Monday, July 27, 2020 was handed to Comrade Oseni a few days ago.
This led to a series of controversies on whether the letter was backdated or kept waiting in bay for the CPS, because he still wrote a media release on the bus distribution ceremony held by Hon Adesina-Williams.
In his statement, he sought to clear allegations making waves that the termination of his appointment was due to "misgivings or misconduct while in office" from his part.
First, he praised the Chairman saying, "...throughout my appointment as the Media Aide to the Executive Chairman, it has been more of a mother and son relationship.
"This is evident in the second paragraph of the letter, as a result of the landslide success Igando Ikotun LCDA was able to achieve with my contribution and the ever-supportive Public Affairs Department ...," he continued.
"This notice is not to counter my termination of appointment but to make clear that I have never been found wanting throughout my stay as the Media Aide to the council chairman, Hon. Morenike Adesina Williams."
He concluded by appealing to the general public to underplay the politics while appreciating people who have called and sent him messages so far.
