THE National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Igando-Ikotun local branch, under the leadership of Hon. Comr. Muhammad Mustapha (General), along with the Executives and Directorates, visited the stakeholders of the LCDA at the council Secretariat on February 23, 2024
Information reaching AlimoshoToday states that the purpose of the visit was to present the Association’s proposed programmes and activities for the Year 2024.
During the visit, the Group presented the year’s programmes and activities to the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Comr. Lasisi Akinsanya, who was represented by Hon. Mojisola Badmus, the Executive Vice-Chairman. The Supervisor for Youth and the Supervisor for Civic Engagement were also present during the presentation.
Following the presentation, the delegation engaged in discussions with officials, including the Head of the Department of Agriculture and Youth Development, the Secretary to the Local Government, and the Supervisor for Agriculture. These discussions focused on exploring opportunities for youth collaboration and inclusivity.
Also, the team attended the review of the Alimosho Modern City Planning for the period of 2022-2042. This review provided valuable insights that would contribute to the planning and implementation of future development in the community.
