STUDENTS of the Alimosho Summer School, organised by Okun Alimosho, a subsidiary of AfroVanguard, a non-profit organisation domiciled in Alimosho, recently held their Ogidi Omo Concert and Exhibition to signify the end of the summer school and showcase the newly gained talents of the children.
The event started with a panel session, which had panellists from UK, America, and Nigeria.
There were several exhibitions from the students, including exhibitions by cake and crafts students, art and crafts students, performances by the drum students, spoken words poetry, and musical solo performances.
Other exhibitions include chess tournament finals, dance, drama performances, and award presentations to the Most Accountable, Most Responsible, Most Diligent, Most Punctual Student and Volunteer, which was presented by a representative of the Lagos State Education District 1 Tutor General/Permanent Secretary.
While appreciating the initiative of Okun Alimosho, parents testified to the impact the summer school has had on their children and are willing to enrol their wards at the Next Generation Genius Club.
Below are some pictures from the event held at the Lagos Theatre, Igando.
