THE Alimosho General Hospital domiciled in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA of Alimosho LGA, has continued to receive major boosts in the health sector, which has placed the hospital above others in Lagos, including some big private hospitals.
The Dr Ayodapo-led administration has continued to prove itself in totally redirecting the course of the facility to effective health service delivery.
In what is deemed an upgrade, the hospital, on Friday, March 31, 2023, introduced the Automated Queuing Machine to effectively control overcrowding at service points, enhance transparency, and standardise patients waiting time, among others.

Also, on Monday, April 3, 2023, the hospital received 1- 40 plasma ultra freezers, 1 Platelet Agitator, and 1 Blue Gate UPs stationed in the facility by the Lagos State Blood Transfusion Service (LSBTS).
The gesture by LSBTS was born out of the need to ensure decentralisation and storage of Fresh Frozen Plasma and Platelet Concentrates, for easy accessibility for individuals in far-to-reach places; and minimize delays in management as well as a reduction in mortality and morbidity of patients.
Further, the hospital also upgraded the Maternal and Child Centre (MCC 11) theatre floor with Vinyl Materials.
The face-lift will enhance the easy cleaning of the surface, ensure more durability, and most importantly, prevent germs and bacteria.
It is hoped that the new health equipment and facility upgrade will translate to an improvement in health service delivery in Alimosho.
