VETERAN Nollywood actress, Stella Ikwuegbu reportedly died on Sunday, plunging the Nollywood industry into mourning.
The sad news was made known by movie producer, Stanley Nwoko, otherwise known as Stanley Ontop, via his Instagram page. He revealed that the actress passed on Sunday, June 16, 2024, after battling with leg cancer.
He said, “Popular Nollywood actress/veteran Mrs Stella Ikwuegbu is dead.
“The veteran Actress left this world today after battling with Leg cancer. Rest well madam Stella.
“Nollywood not again😭😭😭💔 💔💔💔. It’s well💔😭 Shalom!”
Recall that just last week, the Yoruba Nollywood industry was thrown into mourning as they lost one of their veterans, Dayo Adewunmi, popularly known as Sule Suebebe. The actor died in the early hours of Wednesday morning, June 12, at an undisclosed hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State.
