THE Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has finished the construction of drainages and almost completed the construction of roads on Shobukola and Market Streets in Council Area of Idimu in Alimosho Local Government Area.
The Honourable Sanyaolu Olowoopeju-led administration has ensured the drainage left in tatters was fixed and the residents are very pleased concerning this.
The entire Market Street from where plank dealers are located to its end has got its drainages well constructed and the road is presently undergoing total construction.
Residents and business owners in the area have expressed their appreciation for the completed project.
A female trader who pleaded anonymity told AlimoshoToday that she's very happy the road has been fixed at last. She lamented how the project had been flagged off by the previous administration that allegedly left it in shambles. "But thanks to the Almighty, all is well now," she said.
Another trader, who simply identified herself as Bose, was also full of praises. Commenting on the completed drainage, she said: "I am very happy. At least, the road will no longer be messy and our customers can easily come in to buy what we sell. All these gutters were blocked before, especially after that transformer. We are happy. I believe the government can do more."
