ALIMOSHO Local Government Area of Lagos State on Wednesday commenced the construction of another vocational centre in Shasha Primary School.
This was announced in a statement by the Special Assistant on Media to the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Ayinde Jamiu Kunle.
According to the statement: The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon and his team commenced the construction of another vocational centre in Shasha Primary School.
It will be recalled that the chairman promised to ensure all public primary school students learn a vocation before graduation.
The chairman had also earlier commissioned a centre alongside Jaiz Foundation at Africa Church Primary School, Akowonjo. The chairman had also ensured that the Aregbesola Primary School has a vocation centre for the pupils in the school.
The statement also said that the foundation for the third vocational centre in Alimosho primary schools had been achieved and soon, the project will be completed and commissioned.
Vice-Chairman and Supervisor for Works, Hon. Francis Adebisi also said that "the new vocational centre will have three classes, one store, two toilets and one office space."
