PROJECT Enable Africa, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), has distributed palliatives to people with disabilities in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State.
Beneficiaries of the humanitarian activity included people with visual, hearing and physical impairments, and persons with albinism amongst others.
The statement by the NGO reads: "Today, our food drive project catered for persons with disabilities in Alimosho including those with visual impairment, hearing impairment, physical impairment, persons with albinism amongst others.
"One of the amazing lessons for us as an organisation from the food drive project is the value of collaboration, in that light, we sincerely appreciate our volunteers who helped us in the tedious processes most especially in reaching several remote places in Lagos."
